The Washington Food Hub Network will publish a 2023 Washington Food Hub Collective Impact Report on March March 14, 2024. Come learn about this report, and learn how food hubs in Washington state are supplying schools, food access organizations, and other eaters throughout the state.
Emily Manke, is the Administrative Coordinator for NABC. She works on several projects, including the Southwest Washington Growers Coop, and WWFSP. When not working, she is a mom, and helps run Forest Flora Farm, a small pastured egg operation in Southwest Washington.
Shannon Bly is the Executive Director for Whidbey Island Grown Cooperative, and was part of the original organizing group that developed the Co-op and Food Hub project starting in 2019. Her job includes running the Co-op’s three programs – a Food Hub, place based marketing brand, and newly built rentable storage facilities. Shannon is a third generation north Whidbey Islander raising a fourth generation in Oak Harbor, and believes in the benefits of food systems work to protect her island community.
