WWFSP Website Launch L&L with NABC

The Western Washington Food System Partnership‘s new website is live. The site provides farm to foodbank resources, highlights WWFSP’s project accelerator and Washington Food Hub Network work, and features a robust library of food system resources including annotated articles, the Lunch & Learn library, and a Washington State Food Systems Organization Directory. Cheryl Picture

Cheryl Thornton, started Cloud Mountain Farm in 1985. Since then, she has been involved in all aspects of the farm and developed relationships with over 100 buyers ranging from wholesalers, food banks, school districts, hospitals and restaurants. Cloud Mountain Farm was also instrumental in the development of the Puget Sound Food Hub, a farmers’ cooperative, which now has over 65 members and acts as a distributor for many food access centers. Currently she is a consultant working on several projects related to the food system for NABC and the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

Emily Manke Headshot

Emily Manke, is the Administrative Coordinator for NABC. She works on several projects, including the Southwest Washington Growers Coop, and WWFSP. When not working, she is a mom of a 4 year old, and helps run Forest Flora Farm, a small pastured egg operation in Southwest Washington.
