Learn about creative Food Safety Plans with NABC

Learn about Food Safety Plans for farms with Northwest Agriculture Business Center’s Sera Hartman. This session provides a brief introduction to developing food safety plans and is perfect for entrepreneurs looking to start or expand food businesses, and all others who prepare and distribute food. We work through the questions on a basic food safety plan template, using this valuable risk management tool to jumpstart your own farm’s food safety plan.

Sera Hartman, PMP is a certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). As one of NABC’s Project Managers, she has coached both food hubs and individual farms on food safety basics and the thought process behind evaluating risk and establishing mitigation processes.
